Milam Elementary School is located on 1215 Rangerville Rd. in Harlingen, Texas.   

  • The school has approximately 425 students and 29 teachers and support faculty along with 8 paraprofessionals.  
  • The school employs a full-time counselor and nurse.  
  • There is one part-time computer technician. 
  • The Parent Center has one parent educator.  
  • There are four custodians. 
  • There are five food service personnel. 

The school has been designated as a dual language campus. In 2014-2015, the school began offering Pre-Kinder through Second grades in both English and Spanish.  Every year, there has been one grade level added so that the Pre-Kinder students who began the program, will graduate fifth grade knowing two languages equally well.
